Wirthwein Medical GmbH Co. KG, a leading company in the field of plastics processing in the medical technology, diagnostics and pharmaceutical industries, is pleased to announce that Dipl.-Ing. Thorsten Kellner will strengthen the management team as a new authorized signatory from October 1, 2023. Together with Technical Manager Thorsten Hassenzahl and Managing Director Dr. Thomas Jakob he will shape the future direction of the company, which was founded in 1946 and is headquartered in Mühltal near Darmstadt.
In his additional position as authorized signatory, Mr. Kellner is clearly committed to aligning the company with growing customer requirements, implementing new technologies and driving strategic growth. Given his international experience, he will also help to strengthen Wirthwein Medical GmbH & Co. KG' position in the global market. " I am very passionate about plastics processing with products for the healthcare sector. This enthusiasm drives me every day to successfully transfer projects into series production with high ambition and commitment in our customers’ interest", Thorsten Kellner emphasizes. Mr. Kellner has been part of the company since 2019 and in his position as Head of Development & Project Management has contributed to the positive development of the company together with the entire Wirthwein Medical team.
Born in Upper Franconia, Mr. Kellner graduated with a degree in materials science with a focus on polymers at the University of Bayreuth and complemented his technical education with management studies at the Business School in St. Gallen. Mr. Kellner brings more than 15 years of experience in the development and implementation of projects in the fields of medical technology, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.
