The medical technology and plastics expert in Mühltal, Germany, further expands production capacities and creates another thirty jobs in the Mühltal municipality
In summer last year Riegler announced that it had purchased six additional all-electric injection molding machines. In the second half year of 2018 the machines got set up and put into operation to produce state-of-the-art products for the diagnostics and medical technology industries around the world since January this year. The company continues expanding its production capacities thanks to new orders and an increase of production volumes of regular customers.
Riegler invests in fifteen new all-electric injection molding machines in 2019
In 2019 Riegler GmbH & Co. KG invests in altogether fifteen new all-electric injection molding machines including peripheral handling to process new customer orders and to modernise machinery. By doing so, Riegler increases its level of automation. “When it comes to new investments for the benefit of our customers, we focus on state-of-the-art technologies and the highest possible process safety with an optimum level of automation “, points Dr. Thomas Jakob the direction of the medical technology expert. Riegler invests more than five million Euros not only in new technologies and injection molding machines but also in the expansion of digitalisation and production.
As a system supplier Riegler manufactures customised precision solutions using the technology platforms of injection molding, blow molding, and assembly. Most products are manufactured under ISO class 7 clean room conditions due to the high degree of sensitivity of future application areas, such as for laboratory and blood diagnostics, haemodialysis, or special DNA analytical methods.
Riegler to create thirty additional jobs
In August 2018 Riegler GmbH & Co. KG issued a press release that it plans to create twenty additional jobs for skilled workers in the Rhein-Main region in the short and medium term. Indeed, altogether thirty new jobs were created in the course of the year 2018. Presently, 330 employees work with the manufacturer of plastic components for the medical technology industry at three production sites in Mühltal and Ober-Ramstadt. Due to new customer projects the company plans to create another thirty jobs at the plant in Mühltal. Thanks to this development Riegler cannot only offer interesting prospects to its permanent workforce but also an exciting and versatile working environment to external applicants: the company is in search of skilled workers in the areas of plastic processing and production.
